Recently, Rappahannock Art League members formed teams to assess programs and how they connect to the non-profit’s mission of bringing the arts to a broader community. The Youth Education Team looked at new ways to serve the community with art, reported Marilyn Sprouse. Ideas include bringing art workshops to the youth, the elderly and…babies!
Four “Baby and I Make and Take Arts” workshops will be offered throughout the upcoming year, said Sprouse. These stop in, make and take workshops provide opportunities to create keepsakes with baby (even up to 5 years) with one on one assistance from an artist.
Participants can come anytime the workshop hours are open and leave when ready.
