The Red Devils recorded a season-opening win, 8-2, in varsity baseball over Middlesex last Friday behind a five-inning effort by pitcher Danny Hinson.
Hinson picked up the win with five strikeouts, two walks and four hits allowed. Closer Matthew Kleinfelter faced six batters and fanned four of them in two innings.
The host Chargers scored their only two runs in the bottom of the first.
