Although the Buses to the Bowl Benefit Bash has been cancelled, a fundraiser involving the Northern Neck Popcorn Bag is still a go and the two flavors created especially for the Red Devils will debut at the Lancaster versus Middlesex football game Friday, September 15.
Big Red Siracha and Red Devil Cinnamon Red Hot will be available for sale during the game—with 40% of the proceeds from sales going towards payment for the charter buses for the band’s trip to the Taxslayer Bowl game in Jacksonville, Fla., on December 30. The two special flavors also will be available in the popcorn shop located on Irvington Road in Kilmarnock through December.
“It is with the deep regret that due to several scheduling conflicts we have had to cancel the concert by Tangent and Justin Burke that was scheduled for October 14 at the Town Centre Park in Kilmarnock,” said Lancaster Band Boosters president Donna McGrath. “The Band appreciates the generosity of the performers who wanted to do this and are sorry we could not make it work.”
