Catherine S. Cowardin

REEDVILLE—Catherine Siegfried Cowardin of Reedville passed away August 5, 2017.

She and her twin sister were born November 8, 1926, in Philadelphia, Pa. to Harry and Mary Siegfried.

She was predeceased by her parents; two sisters, Marion Siegfried Boyle and Margaret Siegfried Gotwols; four brothers, David, Paul, Richard and Edward; and one grandson, John Paul Cowardin.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, William H. Cowardin Sr.; one son, William H. Cowardin Jr. (Colleen); and one daughter, Mary Louise Tunget; two granddaughters, Sage Louise Tunget and Alese Nancy Cowardin; two grandsons, William H. Cowardin III and Christopher Michael Cowardin; and her twin sister, Helen S. Bolger.

She was educated in Philadelphia by the Catholic school system and graduated from Little Flower Catholic High School and Immaculata University.

Prior to her marriage, she was employed as an executive secretary at Smith-Kline & French Pharmaceutical House.

A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, August 14, at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, Kilmarnock. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior at the church.
