JUPITER, FLA—Charlotte Henry passed away May 5, 2018, in Jupiter, Fla. She was a resident of Kilmarnock for more than 20 years.
Charlotte was a member of Grace Episcopal Church, Kilmarnock. She was a graduate of Queens College, N.Y.
She was a member of Mary Ball Washington Museum & Library and wrote the “MBW Notes” column appearing in the Rappahannock Record for six-and-a-half years. She also was a member of Historic Christ Church and the Kilmarnock Museum.
Charlotte is survived by her sister, Evelyn Knapp; her children, Tom Henry, Kevin Henry, Gayle Murray, Carol Henry, Shawn Henry, David Henry, Cheryl Henry Coirin; grandchildren, Stephanie Henry, Becky Henry, Sarah Henry, Lauren Snyder, Kevin Henry Jr, Angela Henry, Janet Love, Amy Henry, Erin Pothoff, Rachel Henry, David Henry Jr., Whitney Henry, Ian Perkins, Ivy Perkins; and great-grandchildren, Richie and Amanda Snyder, Emma and Morgan Love and Olivia and P.J. Pothoff.
Charlotte was pre-deceased by her father, David Koos Jr.; mother, Lucy Koos; sister, Dorothy von Glahn; and husband, Thomas Edward (Ed) Henry.
Visitation will be from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Thursday, May 10, at New Hyde Park Funeral Home, 506 Lakeville Road, New Hyde Park, N.Y. Interment will be in Long Island National Cemetery, Farmingdale, N.Y.
