Three bands will perform at a fundraising concert/dinner event to benefit Sweet Justice band members Beth Justice and Rod McMordie, who recently lost almost everything when their home burned in Urbanna. The Burton House Benefit event will be held from 6 to 11 p.m. Saturday, January 20, at The Beacon at the Pilot House Restaurant, 2737 Greys Point Road, Topping.
A $20 donation at the door includes an all-you-can-eat buffet of fried chicken, spaghetti, vegetables and salad, plus music by Stuck On A Name, Pretty Heavy and Beer Money. There will be a cash bar and a 50/50 raffle and other donations to the cause are welcomed.
