Host Colonial Beach took a 41-point lead in the first half en route to a 55-6 rout of Lancaster Monday night.
The Drifters led 41-6 at the half after allowing a 40-yard pass play from Tae Veney to BJ Lee with only eight seconds to go in the half. The hook-up turned out to be Lancaster’s only score of the game.
The Red Devils remain winless in the Northern Neck District and have one shot left at picking up a district victory against Northumberland tomorrow night, November 2, when they host the Indians in the annual Bay Bowl to end regular season play. The Indians are 7-1 overall and 3-1 in the district.
