Fairfields Baptist Church in Burgess will celebrate 174 years of ministry in the Northern Neck on Sunday, October 14.
The theme is, ‘Changed’ taken from 2 Corinthians 3:18, “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.”
“All are invited to join with us as we experience life changing testimonies on how God has changed the lives of people in our community and how God can change your life,” said pastor Randy McCollum.
The event will begin with a meet and greet at 10:30 a.m. followed by a homecoming celebration at 11 a.m. Everyone is welcome to stay and enjoy a fellowship lunch immediately following worship, he said.
Jimmy and Tricia Ashley from Rappahannock Church of Christ in Warsaw will lead the service. The speaker will be Rev. McCollum.
