The Golden Eagle Golf Course in Irvington will host the Bob Gutknecht Charitable Golf Tournament on September 23.

According to Don Nelson, PGA professional at Golden Eagle, all proceeds will benefit Gutknecht in his recovery from cancer.

The tournament is a four-person captain’s choice format with a 1 p.m. shotgun start. The fee is $75 per person or $300 per team. Adult/youth (17 and younger) teams are also permitted and the fee is $100 per two-person team.

The entry fee includes a cookout following play, along with prizes and awards. A 50/50 raffle will also be drawn and there will be a closest to the pin contest on all par 3 holes. A longest putt prize will be awarded on hole #10.

“If you can’t attend the tournament but would like to help, donations and raffle prizes will be gratefully accepted,” said Nelson.

To register, call Nelson, 438-4460, or Don Holt, 761-0415.
