JV Lady Devils beat Middlesex as storm brews

Lancaster was beating Middlesex, 11-5, Monday when a storm ended the JV softball game at Dream Fields in Kilmarnock. It was Lancaster’s final game of the season.

Kayleigh Self was the winning pitcher for LHS with six strikeouts in six and 2/3 innings.

A storm also ended the Lady Devils’ game early at Northumberland last Thursday when the Indians held an 11-1 lead in the fourth inning.

Logan Kemp, Grace Oren, Olivia Saunders and Abria Jackson each had a hit to lead LHS at the plate. Kemp scored Lancaster’s only run.
