LANCASTER—A defendant got a lecture about “showing respect” from Lancaster County Circuit Court Judge R. Michael McKenney when he remained seated during the judge’s entrance and the chief bailiff’s call to opening proceedings.

William Morris Noel of Lancaster, charged with distribution of a controlled substance and selling schedule I/II drugs, apologized to the judge.

Noel asked the court for a continuance in order to change his attorney to Brent Jackson. A bench trial was set for February 9, 2018.

Juan Arthur Norris of Lancaster, aka Rajah T. Uhuru, convicted in 2007 of felony indecent exposure with a child under 14, forcible sodomy to a child under 13, rape, assault of a police officer and currently serving 13 years in prison, withdrew a post trial motion.

Carlesha Shawvel Reed of Lancaster was arrested after two years of pursuit and charged with probation violation on eight felony convictions. She qualified for a court appointed attorney. The case was continued to January 5.

Keonte Richon Walters of Kilmarnock pled guilty to two felony charges of selling cocaine and one amended charge of sexual battery. While the maximum sentence is 40 years on each drug charge and 12 months on the sexual battery, under a plea agreement Walters received a total of 14 years 3 months with all but one year four months suspended. Additional felony charges of selling cocaine and breaking and entering to commit rape were nolle prosequi.

Ella Louise Hardy of Kilmarnock, was in court asking for home electronic monitoring for the remainder of her four month active sentence for selling drugs. She cited medical issues. The case was put under review until January 5.

Charges against Clifford Ray Dawson Jr. of Kilmarnock for selling drugs were placed under review until December 7, 2018.

Rashad Jamel Foote of Weems, charged with felony abduction, sodomy and rape, was set for jury trial on April 12, 2018.

Charges against Justeyn Tyjaih Howard of Heathsville for felony selling drugs on or near a school and distribution of a controlled substance were nolle prosequi.

Deante Verdel Jones of Kilmarnock, charged with misdemeanor assault and battery of a family member and violation of probation, was set for trial on January 26, 2018.

The trial of Donald Fauntleroy of White Stone for DWI was continued to December 15.

Thomas Earl Kelly Jr. pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault and battery of a family member. He was given a suspended sentence and one year unsupervised probation.

Ana Carmen Carillo was charged with felony possession of Schedule I/II drugs. A bench trial was set for February 23, 2018.

Maurice Roderick Levere Jr. of Lancaster, charged with felony distribution of marijuana and disregard of a child’s life, was set for a bench trial on April 13, 2018.

Amir Rasoul of Kilmarnock was arraigned on two felonies of violating a protective order. Trial was set for February 2, 2018.

Tikesha Lashell Taylor of Lancaster was set for a bench trial on charges of child abuse on April 13, 2018.

Joshua Ryan Pratz of Lancaster entered a plea of guilty to misdemeanor shoplifting. He was sentenced to 15 days in jail and banned from Kilmarnock Walmart.
