LANCASTER—Judge R. Michael McKenney convened Lancaster County Circuit Court on October 13 and heard the following cases.
Jerrick Deion Saunders of Weems failed to appear in court on two felony probation violations. The judge ordered a capias for his arrest.
The case of Joseph Cox Jr. of Lively was set for trial on January 5, 2018. He is charged with 13 felony probation violations.
Patrick Arthur Tuck of Callao entered a plea of guilty to amended charges of distribution of Schedule I/II drugs. The judge ordered a pre-sentence report. Trial on an additional distribution charge was set for December 22.
The case of Christopher Ryan Brooks, charged with felony probation violation, was set for trial December 15.
The trial of Rashad Jamel Foote of Weems on charges of felony abduction and sodomy, was set for December 15. The Commonwealth’s Attorney withdrew a felony charge of rape.
The trial of Douglas Randell Broadus of White Stone on eight misdemeanor charges of probation violation was continued to January 5.
The trial of Brandon Michael Roberts of Lancaster for misdemeanor assault and battery of a family member was set for January 26, 2017.
