Lancaster County Circuit Court Report

LANCASTER—Judge R. Michael McKenney convened Lancaster County Circuit Court on Friday, March 16.

Carlesha Shawvel Reed of Lancaster was sentenced to four months in jail after violating the terms of her probation on three felony and five misdemeanor convictions. She was ordered to pay $831 in court costs.

Robert Paul Lisbon of Lottsburg was arraigned on felony probation violation. The case was set for March 23.

The case of Kenneth B. Jackson of Topping, charged with probation violation on two felony convictions, was set for trial on May 4.

A summons was ordered on Brandon T. Fischer of Lancaster. Previously, he was given a suspended sentence, two years unsupervised probation and ordered to pay court costs of $741 for destruction of property, $1,238.60 for probation violation, and $918 for grand larceny. The case was set for April 13.

The case of Deondre Lampkin of Heathsville, charged with probation violation on a felony conviction, was continued to June 15.

The case of Brandon Michael Roberts of Lancaster, charged with probation violation on a felony conviction, was continued to April 13 on a motion by defense.

The case of Joseph Cox Jr. of Lively, charged with probation violation on 13 convictions, was continued to May 25.

The case of Clifton B. Tomlin of Burgess, charged with probation violation on a misdemeanor conviction, was continued to May 25.

The case of Timothy D. Manning of White Stone, charged with felony failure to appear, was nolle prosequi by Commonwealth’s Attorney Jan Smith.

Deante Verdel Jones of Kilmarnock, had a misdemeanor conviction for distribution of marijuana set aside after meeting the conditions of his probation.

Jasmine Elizabeth Taylor, had a misdemeanor conviction for distribution of marijuana set aside after meeting the conditions of her probation.

The case of Douglas Randell Broadus, charged with 16 counts of consensual sex with a child over 15, violation of probations and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, was set for trial on May 4.

The trial of Chelsea Marie Jarvis of Bohannon on a felony grand larceny charge was continued to April 13.

Stanley Irwin Gaskins of Weems pled guilty to third offense DWI. He received an active sentence of 90 days with work release, two years supervised probation, a $1,000 fine and was ordered to pay court costs of $1,300. His license was suspended indefinitely.

The trial of Rose Maria Turner of Smithfield on a felony perjury charge was set for June 15.

The case of Dexter O’Neil Sutton of Heathsville, charged with seven counts of felony strangulation/wounding, entering a house to commit a felony, and misdemeanor assault and battery, was set for trial on June 8. A bond hearing was set for March 23.
