LANCASTER—The Lancaster County Circuit Court convened August 10 with the Hon. R. Michael McKenney presiding.
Brandon J. Curry of Lancaster, charged with a felony of manufacturing or distributing a controlled substance, was sentenced to 10 years with 8 years and 6 months suspended.
The case of Marvin W. Davenport Jr., no address listed, charged with use of a firearm, shooting to commit a felony, second degree murder and violent felony weapon possession, was continued to November 7 for a jury trial. Davenport is charged with second degree murder in the 2010 death of Jasmin Smith at a yard party in Nuttsville.
The case of Steve E. Robinson of Lancaster, charged with two felonies of aggregated sexual battery and two misdemeanors of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, was continued to August 17.
