LANCASTER—Leila H. Cutchall, 85, of Lancaster passed away peacefully at home on November 14, 2018.
She was preceded in death by her husband of almost 62 years, Carol M. Cutchall.
She is survived by her children Carlee S. Wrenn (Jim), Carol “Chip” M. Cutchall Jr. (Chris), Cindy L. Gardner (Rich), Amy J. Cutchall and Catherine L. Root (Jeff); 11 grandchildren, Christy, Beth, David, Katie, Rick, Pam, Matthew, Nicolas, Kari, Jeffrey and Samantha; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Cutchall worked for the Fairfax County School system as a clinic aide and as a secretary. She also worked along with her husband to build and run his general contracting business, CMAXC company. She learned Morse code and obtained her Ham Radio license becoming a member of the Mount Vernon Radio Club (MVARC), the Quarter Century Wireless Association (QCWA) and the Rappahannock Amateur Radio Association (RARA).
Leila will be remembered for her kindness, sweet personality, generosity and caring spirit. Her cherished memory will live on in the lives of her children.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 15, at Currie Funeral Home, Kilmarnock. A reception will follow the service at Corrottoman Baptist Church, Lancaster.
