Lions Club announces Peace Poster contest

At a recent meeting, the Lancaster County Lions Club presented Lancaster Middle School art teacher Marilyn Sprouse a check for $500.

“This donation is to enable Marilyn to buy art supplies for students entering the annual Lions Club International Peace Poster contest,” said Lion Eileen Tullner. “For the last 30 years Lions Clubs around the world have proudly sponsored the Lions International Peace Poster Contest in local schools and youth groups. This art contest for kids encourages young people worldwide to express their visions of peace and the theme of the 2017-2018 Peace Poster Contest is ‘The Future of Peace’.”
