‘Living history’ on view Sept. 15 at the Heathsville Farmers Market

The Heathsville Farmers Market on September 15 will be dedicated to “living history.” The farmers market will be held from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at Rice’s Hotel/Hughlett’s Tavern, 73 Monument Place, Heathsville.

Historical groups will set up an encampment on the Tavern Green. They will be surrounded by a display of historical flags. See folks in costume and learn about local history, said manager Corinne Anthony Becker. Groups representing the American Revolution, War of 1812, Civil War and black history will participate…
