Lancaster Middle School invites everyone to its annual Veterans Day Program at 1:30 p.m. Friday, November 10, in the LMS Theater, 191 School Street, Kilmarnock. The program is free and open to the public.
The LMS Symphonic Band will present musical selections, there will be speakers, dramatic readings and a tribute to the branches of the armed forces.
“We are very excited about this, it is a wonderful way to honor all in the Northern Neck who have served our country,” said band director Kenny Flester. “This is our way of saying thank you. I know how patriotic this area is and I hope to see a lot of veterans in attendance.”
