The Volunteer Tutoring Program in Lancaster County Schools (LCS) consists of community members who donate their time and talents to work with students in grades pre-K through 12.
“Lancaster County Schools love their volunteer tutors!” exclaimed program coordinator Gayle Sterret.
Students really benefit from the one-on-one attention they receive from their special tutors each week, said Sterret.
Monday tutors recently were recognized as the November Volunteers of the Month.
