Northumberland County Circuit Court Report

HEATHSVILLE—The Northumberland County Circuit Court convened September 12. The following cases were heard by the Hon. R. Michael McKenney.

Trials 

The case of Alicia S. Darby of Warsaw, charged with felony manufacturing or distributing a controlled substance, was continued to October 3.

Phillip P. Jackson of Heathsville, charged with two misdemeanors of fishing in tidal waters with no license and selling seafood without a license, pled not guilty but was found guilty and was ordered to pay a fine.

The case of Valencia Owens of Lancaster, charged with felony selling an imitation Schedule I or II drug, was carried over to September 26.

Graison A. Pierce of Montross, charged with misdemeanor reckless driving, pled guilty and was sentenced to 12 months with 11 months suspended.
