HEATHSVILLE—The Northumberland County Circuit Court convened March 12 with the Hon. R. Michael McKenney presiding.

The case of Christopher M. Brooks of Alexandria, charged with a misdemeanor for reckless driving for driving more than 20 mph over the speed limit, was continued to April 23.

The case of Thomas P. Croswell of Reedville, charged with a misdemeanor for harvesting oysters in a closed area, was continued to June 11.

A status hearing on the case of Alicia S. Darby, charged with two felonies including one count for possession of a controlled substance and one count for violating her probation on a felony charge, was continued to April 2.

Bond was granted in the case of Helen D. Conway of Heathsville who appealed the condition of her release by the court.

A bond hearing in the case of Darren P. Frye of Reedville, charged with a misdemeanor count of assault, was continued to March 19.

Bond was granted in the case of Christopher L. Goins of Mollusk who appealed the condition of his release by the court.

The case of Roger D. Hash of Manassas, charged with a felony for possession of a weapon by a felon, was dismissed by the court.

The trial of Willie P. Keyser of Weems, charged with three misdemeanors for selling marijuana and eight felonies including three counts for manufacturing controlled substances and five counts for selling drugs on or near a school or library, was continued to April 23.
