The Northumberland County Circuit Court convened Tuesday, October 9, with the Hon. R. Michael McKenney presiding.
The trial of Ricky A. Gibson, no address listed, charged with five felonies including three counts of manufacturing controlled substances and two counts of selling drugs on or near a school or library, in addition to one misdemeanor charge for the sale of marijuana, was continued to December 18.
The trial of Darren P. Frye of Heathsville, charged with one infraction for operating defective equipment, was continued to October 16.
The trial of Jeremy G. Olsen of Montross, charged with two infractions for failure to yield the right-of-way and failure to obtain registration, was continued to October 30.
Carl W. Short of Lancaster plead not guilty to a misdemeanor charge for public swearing and intoxication and was fined by the court $50.
The trial of Deandre W. Veney of Fredericksburg, charged with three misdemeanors for the sale of marijuana, was continued to December 18.
