Second-seeded Northumberland opened up a close game with a turnover late in the third and went on to shake seventh ranked Colonial Beach, 26-13, in the Region 1A playoffs last Saturday.

The win gives the Indians (9-1) a home berth in a regional quarterfinal against sixth-seeded West Point (7-3), a 39-7 winner over third-place Rappahannock in another first round game. The Indians will host the Pointers at 7 p.m. Friday, November 16.
