Northumberland school bus routes unchanged

School bus routes for students at Northumberland County Public Schools have not changed since last year, according to driver Stacy Brenam, who is currently filling in for director of transportation Reginald Taylor.

Buses are expected to be mostly full, so students are not allowed to board or ride a bus they are not assigned to. Elementary, middle and high school students will continue to ride to and from school on the same bus.

Students are expected to be at their assigned bus stop at least five minutes before pickup time. If they miss their bus, students can call 580-5161 and someone will radio their driver, but busses will not be sent back to pick up late children.
