KILMARNOCK—Nadine Flood, a longtime art educator from Northern Virginia, judged Pots, Plants or Blooms exhibit now showing at the RAL Art Center, 9 North Main Street, Kilmarnock.
Flood indicated the talent of the area artists was abundantly clear in this exhibit, reported exhibit coordinator Mary Ellis. As expected, there were many depictions of floral beauty through paint, pastel and photography, and all were splendidly crafted and showed mastery of technique and media. She mentioned there were also some unusual and unexpected three-dimensional gems that added balance to the exhibit.
