Raffle tickets on sale for ‘Broadway in Richmond’

The Lancaster County Virginia Education Foundation (LCVEF) is raffling tickets to “Broadway in Richmond” plays. The plays are “The Sound of Music,” “Finding Neverland,” “Cabaret,” “Dirty Dancing” and “Rent 20th Anniversary Tour.”

The winner of each raffle will receive four orchestra seats to a matinee performance plus $100 in cash, said Margaret Socey.

The tickets are $10 each, three for $20, or 15 for $100. The tickets are available at The Box in White Stone, Kilmarnock Antique Gallery in Kilmarnock, Union First Market Bank in Kilmarnock, Objects in Irvington and the Irvington Farmer’s Market.

Tickets also may be purchased from any board member, Vera Lee, Jamilah Sawyer, Hazel Farmer, Lex Forrester, Eve Jordan, Bill Warren, Stephanie McClain, Julia Alderson, Susan Pittman, Kim Crockett, Emily Webb, Barbara Smith and Socey, or by calling 438-6604.

Proceeds support LCVEF programs, which include a third-grade Washington, D.C. trip, an annual scholars dinner, teacher mini-grants and STEM programs.
