Staff members of the Rappahannock Record and Rivah Visitor’s Guide were winners in the Virginia Press Association News and Advertising contest for 2017.
The prizes were announced April 14 during a banquet at the Short Pump Hilton in Richmond, reported publisher Frederick A. Gaskins.
For entries from the Record in the advertising contest, sales representative Marilyn Bryant and graphic designer Stephanie Feria took first for an ad prepared for Cathy Rowe of Select Properties.
Ad manager Sara Amiss and Feria took first place for an ad prepared for Docks of the Bay and a second place award for an ad promoting the Richmond County Fair Sue Wee Pig Races…
