Record recognized again for its agricultural coverage

For the second consecutive year and a record 11th time in 13 years, the Rappahannock Record in Kilmarnock won the non-daily newspaper category in the Virginia Farm Bureau Federation’s annual Journalism Award competition.

During that same time period, the Record has won the Ishee-Quann Award for Media Excellence three times and one honorable mention.

The Ishee-Quan Award is the VFBF’s top journalistic honor and represents the best of all entries in the organization’s annual contest…
