Spaghetti dinner benefits BGCNN after school bus in upper Lancaster


Corrottoman Baptist Church, 48 Ottoman Ferry Road, Ottoman, will host a spaghetti dinner from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, October 4, to benefit the Upper Lancaster Transportation program of the Boys & Girls Club of the Northern Neck (BGCNN), reported events coordinator Margaret Cobb.

The program will start at 6 p.m. and will include performances by the BGCNN choir and local favorites from the church community, said Cobb. The BGCNN youth will serve salad, spaghetti, garlic bread and dessert.

The suggested donation for dinner is $10 per person, however it is not required, she added.

The Upper Lancaster Transportation Program was established in January 2017 when the BGCNN, in collaboration with Corrottoman Baptist, resolved to help give youth from the River Road area of upper Lancaster County an opportunity to attend the after school program, said executive director Phillip Mumford…
