St. Margaret’s School opened August 30 for its 97th session with a service held at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Tappahannock. The year began with 110 students, 31 day students and 79 boarding.
The student body is 70% domestic and 30% international, representing 14 countries, including students from across the U.S. Admission is on a rolling basis and the school will continue enrolling students throughout the year.
“We open the school year with many familiar faces returning and with the largest group of new Scotties we’ve seen in recent years. We are also very excited to have the largest group of day students attending the school in recent years, demonstrating the continued value of St. Margaret’s to the local community,” said head of school Catherine M.
