November 13 through 19 is National Collection Week for Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes. The official drop off station locally is White Stone Church of the Nazarene, 57 Whisk Drive, White Stone.
Operation Christmas Child is a Christian organization that distributes boxes filled with small gifts to children around the world to help spread the Good News of Jesus Christ, reported Cathy Smith. The first day the church collected 660 boxes from churches and individuals in Lancaster County.
It isn’t too late to pack a box, she said.
