W&L clobbers Red Devils, 46-6

Washington & Lee allowed Lancaster a touchdown in the first quarter then shut down the Red Devils’ offense for a 46-6 homecoming win in Montross last Saturday.

The Eagles blocked a Chris Dameron punt—the fifth blocked punt against the Devils in the last two weeks—and recovered it in the end zone just little over two minutes into the game.

Lancaster’s Tae Veney completed a 13-yard pass to Elijah Palmer late in the first quarter to account for the Devils’ only scoring…
