Yankee Point Racing and Cruising Club will partner again this year with Premier Sailing School to offer sailing instruction for children ages 6-16 August 7 through 11. The classes will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day, at YPRCC’s facility on Meyer Creek in Lancaster.
According to membership chairman Betsy Armstrong, last year’s sailing instruction for children was so well received that both YPRCC and Premier are looking forward to offering the experience again.
Armstrong said Premier is based in Irvington and that a class offered on Meyer Creek makes it easier for children in Lancaster and Warsaw to attend.
“This is an ideal opportunity for grandparents to encourage an interest in sailing in their grandchildren,” said Armstrong.
