33rd Spring Art Show showcases more than 1,500 student projects

The Lancaster County Public Schools 33rd Spring Art Show was held April 20-22 at Lancaster High School.

On April 20, art teachers Shauna McCranie, Marilyn Sprouse and Kendra Hunt Robinson transformed the gymnasium into an art gallery.

Sarah McCormick from Christchurch School and Heather Cockrell from Northumberland Middle School judged the event.

RAL Art Center has partnered with the schools for 33 years providing ribbons, awards, judges and funds for unexpected show needs, reported Sprouse, who thanked Kathy Kauffman for providing assistance to the LHS Trashion Fashion with sewing education.

Barbara Brecher, designer, artist and volunteer volunteered to visit with Trashion Fashion participants and judged the live fashion show. Those winners are….
