4-H teen counselors needed for July camp

The 4-H programs in Lancaster and Northumberland counties are recruiting teen leaders to serve as counselors during 4-H Junior Camp, July 23 through 27, at the Jamestown 4-H Center.

Teen counselors assist in activities and supervising campers ages 9-13, reported 4-H youth development Extension agent Tara Brent. Applicants must be at least age 14 by January 1, 2018.

Teen counselors are trained prior to camp, and upon successful completion of service at camp, will receive letters documenting their volunteer service, said Brent.
