IRVINGTON—The Irvington Planning Commission heard concerns and comments from the public at its February 16 meeting regarding several conditional use permit (CUP) and rezoning applications.
Originally scheduled as a joint public hearing with the town council, the commission conducted its hearing, but council lacked a quorum. Council will hold its hearing on March 9. Council will convene at 6 p.m. also to conduct first readings of the applications.
Before the commission, two residents expressed reservations regarding plans for the installation of several piers and boat lifts on Carter Creek. Barry Robinson of Irvington has applied for four separate CUPs to build four piers with boat lifts…
