‘Accidental fire’ destroys Charter House facility

KILMARNOCK—A New Year’s Eve fire that destroyed the walls and floor of Charter House didn’t destroy the structure’s heart.

“We are more than a building,” said Charter House coordinator Kelli Jones. “We want to get out a message of hope that we’re not going anywhere. We’re committed to having a strong program and we’re going to continue to be here for the people who need us.”
