The Northern Neck Chapter of Virginia, National Audubon Society, will present “Red-cockaded Woodpeckers in Virginia,” a free virtual program at 7 p.m. Monday, June 7.
Chance Hines, a research biologist with The Center for Conservation Biology (CCB), will share the historic and current status of the only Federally Endangered woodpecker in North America. Following his graduate degree at Old Dominion University, Hines began working with CCB.
