Trinity Episcopal Church invites the public to view its 15th annual “Unsung Hero Award” presentation at 10 a.m. Sunday, December 13. This year’s recipients are Ben and Tina Sanford.
Trinity, the “Little Church with the Big Heart” in Lancaster, gives this award to those persons who embody the giving spirit of Christmas Giving every day of the year.
“Ben and Tina give so much time and give it so joyfully,” said Stan James, vestry member and Unsung Hero committee member. “That is the very idea of an unsung hero: he or she does not give for their own glorification but for the sheer joy of generosity.”
