Dean Loudy enjoyed steamed Chesapeake Bay blue crabs Saturday, September 7, at the annual “thank you” dinner for the volunteers who helped make the 89th Kilmarnock Volunteer Fire Department Firemen’s Festival a success. KVFD volunteers host the dinner every year at the firehouse and crabs are the featured entree. Hundreds of volunteers and thousands of hours go into the carnival each year.
