WHITE STONE—Carolyn Susan “Carol Sue” Lawson, 49, of White Stone died on February 22, 2021. She was a devoted daughter and friend.
Carolyn was born February 23, 1971, in Richmond.
She is survived by her mother, Rosa Linda Walker; stepsister, Cathy Eagles (Lloyd), and a very dear friend, Teresa Gill. She was preceded in death by her father, Michael Lawson; stepfather, Wesley Walker Sr.; stepbrother, Wesley Walker Jr.; and a very dear friend, Phillip Hinson.
Carolyn attended Lancaster High School. She worked as cook on a menhaden fish boat for her stepfather and later helped him crab pot.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 6, at White Stone United Methodist Church.
Currie Funeral Home LLC of Kilmarnock handled the arrangements.
