KILMARNOCK—Catherine Elizabeth Brittingham Fitzgerald Hayes of Kilmarnock died December 25, 2020.
She was born July 31, 1948, to the late William Brittingham and Alice Morgan Brittingham.
She was a member of Mount Vernon Baptist Church, White Stone, and was educated in Lancaster County schools.
Catherine worked at Windmill Point, White Stone, and at Tides Inn, Irvington, as a cook.
She is preceded in death by her parents; a son, William Leslie Fitzgerald; brothers, Irvin Brittingham and William Brittingham; and sister, Laura Ann Washington.
She is survived by daughters, Angie Mickles, Allison Dameron, Stacy Fitzgerald-Redd, Dinna Gattis and Victoria Ball; 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren;, sister, Joan Brittingham; and brother, John Brittingham.
A graveside service was held Tuesday, January 5, at Mount Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery, White Stone.
