Chesapeake Academy head of school Trip Cogburn joined faculty advisors to recognize academic excellence and those habits of mind and study that contribute best to academic growth by announcing teachers’ award honors for the middle school.
Advisor Robin Blake prepared short remarks outlining the specific behaviors and characteristics that led teachers to recognize Fin Burke for the first marking period. The teachers’ award goes to the student who has fully engaged in academic pursuits during the marking period, contributing positively to the academic climate of the class and continually challenging himself or herself to be the best student he or she can be, said Blake.
