Christchurch School students in Dr. Chris Little’s honors Spanish seminar and four faculty members recently spent a week in Puerto Rico, helping with Hurricane Maria cleanup efforts.
Dr. Little serves as chairman of the foreign language department at Christchurch School.
The group cleared rubble and completed basic home repairs, reported Jennifer Homer. They also took equipment, power washers, batteries, gloves, coping saws, roller covers and a compact worksite radio to leave with All Hands Volunteers, a U.S.-based non-profit disaster relief organization.
