Collecting the $1,000 ‘Salebration’ prize

Amy Anderson of Chester visited Kilmarnock on Friday, June 18, to collect her $1,000 in the “Salebration Days” grand prize drawing.

Anderson entered the drawing while visiting W. F. Booth & Son Inc. on June 12, during the two-day sales event sponsored by the Kilmarnock Museum and Chesapeake Bank.

Although she’s already spent some of her winnings while shopping in Kilmarnock, she plans to put the rest towards….
