Deltaville Marina recently announced it is a member of the Virginia Institute of Marine Science (VIMS) Virginia Clean Marina Program (VCM) for the 15th year.
“Our certification has given us the credentials to reference our efforts to operate an environmentally friendly waterfront commercial business,” said Keith Ruse, president and owner.
VCM is part of the Virginia Coastal Nonpoint Pollution Control Program by VIMS. As a voluntary program, marinas must first pledge to initiate management practices that will protect Virginia’s waterways and shorelines, particularly in the vicinity of the marina.
