The Northumberland Association for Progressive Stewardship (NAPS) will host a program on forest clear-cutting from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, August 21, at Rice’s Hotel/Hughlett’s Tavern, 73 Monument Place, Heathsville. Attend online at NAPSva.org/clear-cut. Nelson Hillyer of the Virginia Department of Forestry will speak.
After the program, NAPS will hold its annual meeting and board elections.
