Former Triangle Trolly driver Ken Flester retires—again

Before COVID-19 precipitated the suspension of Bay Transit’s trolley services in 2020, Ken Flester was planning to put in one more year as the driver of the Triangle Trolley, which serves Kilmarnock, Irvington and White Stone.

“I started driving the trolley in 2006 and ended up retiring for good in 2019,” said Flester. “It was more fun than work. I loved meeting the people on the trolley and sharing information about places of interest in the area with them.” 

When Flester first started, the Bay Transit trolley only served the Town of Kilmarnock….
