Fun and games barbecue fundraiser set for Sept. 11

Rice’s Hotel/Hughlett’s Tavern, 73 Monument Place, Heathsville, will hold a barbecue fundraiser from 4-7 p.m. September 11.

This will be the Tavern’s first big fundraising event since the onset of the pandemic, reported executive director Corinne Becker.

Tickets are $35. The menu will include pulled pork, chicken and sausage—all made by BBQ Master Sid Mace—plus potato….
