IRVINGTON—Garry J. Luckham was born December 24, 1952, and left this earthly life on June 8, 2019.
Garry enjoyed life, music, family, friends and a little wine every now and then. He was a big man with hands who made lovely masterpieces. Many in the community possess some of his beautiful creations. He was a poet and artist, a lover of the living.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Sam; a brother, Maurice, and his fiancé Linda Gaskins; his aunt, Barbara Tucker and her children; his uncle, Hugh Brown; his niece, Allison Woolard and Scott, their four children, Emma, Noah, Zoey and Abbey; and his niece, Tiffany Luckham and John Spring and their daughter, Dixie Anne Spring; along with many friends and acquaintances.
A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. June 12, at Irvington United Methodist Church, followed by a celebration of life at the fellowship hall.
Currie Funeral Home LLC of Kilmarnock handled the arrangements.
